      Hello, our group has planned to develop an application containing digital manuals for certain machines at Cape York.
      We want to know if there’s any regulation, i.e. Copyright issues; legal restrictions, that we have to take into account?

        Hi Sean,

        We aren’t aware of any particular copyright/legal issues in Queensland or Australia for this, however our partner CfAT would benefit from your research into this in case there is. For example, reproducing information from existing manuals into a digital format (such as an app) without permission may have some legal issues associated with it, so your research on this would be greatly appreciated. Any regulations on this should be available publicly online if they exist, such as government websites.
