    Hi,
I am working on designing the Weed wash down stations with my team and we had a couple of questions.

Firstly, we weren’t able to find out the exact locations where we need to set up the wash down stations and lastly what do the wash down stations currently do with the run off water, is it being filtered or is it being disposed of.

It would be great if you could provide us with the information or resources for them.

    Thanks

    Hey Vipin,

    Thanks for your question!

Wash down stations are currently located at Lakeland and Lakefield, and are operated by the state government. If you’re planning to install a washdown facility beyond immediate town boundaries, the town water and sewage supply will not reach stations.

You can assume for this project that the stations you’re designing will have to manage their own water systems; what happens to the waste water? Is it reusable? Are you co-locating these wash down facilities with a bore? Is water for the wash down pumped from a river/creek, or is there water harvesting at the site (roof & tank)?

Hope this helps, reach out if you’ve got more questions.

    Luke
